  1. There is a bug in the V39 mathieeesingbas.library (or 68040.library, as it
  2. affects only '040s) that causes the Netpbm programs to crash.  This patch
  3. installs a workaround in the mathieeesingbas.library.  I think the bug is
  4. fixed in V40, but I can't check this...  So, if some Netpbm programs crash
  5. repeatedly (usually immediately after starting them, with a 8000000? guru),
  6. try to run this patch.

  8. I didn't write the patch, but the author said it's OK to upload it to AmiNet
  9. and the Meeting Pearls CD, as long as I do *not* mention his name (must be
  10. some horrible hack... :-))
